New Day Dawns for Obama & America
The day has finally arrived. Just over two years ago, Barack Obama stood in the cold of Springfield, Illinois and announced his decision to run for President of the United States.
Today, that dream becomes a reality.
Just before 12 noon in Washington DC, Barack Obama will take the oath to become the 44th President of the United States. The fourth youngest President ever, and the first Black President.
Millions of people have come to Washington, and will brave the cold as Obama takes the oath, and gives his inaugural address. And Billions, yes, billions will watch this speech around the world.
This is truly an historic day, not just America but for the World.
Obama takes the Presidency at an extremely difficult time in the world's history. Obama understands this, and knows the road will be hard.
But millions have put their faith in Barack Obama, and he is determined not to let them down. If anything can be said of the journey over the last two years, it is that Obama is not one to lay down and give in. He is a fighter, and he is formidable.
We look forward to the next 4 years, and hope that President Obama will do America proud.
Congratulations and Good Luck Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States.
